Naveed Amjad is a filmmaker, photographer, designer, and visual artist based in Lahore, Pakistan. He graduated with honours in Visual Communication Design (VCD) from the prestigious National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore, in 2016. Working under his production label NV Image Works, Naveed has been closely associated with Pakistan’s fashion industry for more than half a decade. He has shot and delivered numerous campaigns, including international projects filmed against the scenic landscapes of Vietnam, Thailand, and Morocco. Naveed gained national recognition for pioneering fashion-focused moving image work in Pakistan, earning his first nomination as Videographer of the Year at the Hum Style Awards in 2018, and later being featured at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival the same year. Alongside his commercial practice at NV Image Works, he continues to pursue a rigorous art practice. In 2019, he was awarded a Fellowship to attend the Vermont Studio Center, the largest and oldest artist residency program in the United States, supporting his growth as a visual artist. In 2021, he had the honour of officially representing Pakistan at the London Design Biennale in collaboration with Studio Lel. Explore this space to discover more of his work through NV Image Works.
