Naveed Amjad is an independent film maker, photographer, designer and a visual artist based out of Lahore, Pakistan. He graduated with an honors and a degree in VCD (visual communication design) from the prestigious National College of Arts, Lahore in the year 2016. He has been closely working with the industry of fashion here in Pakistan for more than half a decade. He has shot and delivered several campaigns - including international filming experience against the scenic landscapes of Vietnam, Thailand, and Morocco. Naveed Amjad gained national level recognition for pioneering the art of filming for fashion in Pakistan through his first ever nomination as Videographer of the year at the Hum Style Awards in 2018 and went on to be featured at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival the same year. He continues his art practice alongside his commercial line of work. Naveed secured acceptance in to the largest and the oldest art residency that the United States has to offer at the Vermont Studio Center on a Fellowship Award in 2019, allowing him to continue his personal growth as a visual artist. He holds the honor of having officially representing Pakistan at the London Design Biennale 2021 in collaboration with Studio Lel. Explore this space to see more of his work.
